This opportunity provides more than just routine Practice Management, with plenty of scope for growth, variety of work and excellent support from our growing organisation. In this role you would take responsibility for contributing to strategic management, systems design and implementation, governance oversight, mentoring and business development for our clients with support from the Avant Practice Solutions team. In many scenarios our Management Consultants work with on-site Practice Managers for day-to-day operational support. You will be providing consultancy services to our surgical, specialist and general medical practices, with a strong focus on efficiency and customer service. Your skills in building strong relationships and influencing positive outcomes will be highly valued. The successful candidate will require a flexible and committed attitude, and will bring experience with management in private practice settings. Key responsibilities include: Continually contribute to Practice Management Consulting activities at Avant to meet client needs Take responsibility for assessing, scoping and delivering Practice Management Consulting services to clients Identify, review and troubleshoot operational issues Identify areas of improvement and contribute to change implementation Build relationships with doctors and business owners Maintain a safe and healthy working environment Ensure the delivery and standard of customer service and the organisation's processes and procedures are maintained at a high level Financial and strategic reporting utilising multiple databases Deliver practice improvement and guidance to your assigned clients What you need to be successful: 2 to 5 years experience in a Medical Business/Practice or Operations Management or leadership role in a Medical Practice (e.g. Assistant Manager, Team Leader, Admin Manager, 2IC or similar) Experience in General Practice will be highly regarded Customer Service Focus – Anticipates and responds to the needs of internal and external clients. Ensures customer expectations are realistic, established and satisfied Demonstrated strong leadership skills, preferably with relevant leadership experience in the Healthcare sector A high level of accounting and budgeting skills Product knowledge – understand the features and benefits of our services. Communicates this knowledge effectively and efficiently. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and medical software Problem solving – the ability to creatively and effectively troubleshoot issues as they arise Ability to establish priorties ad organise workflows effectively. Creativity with vision and eye for business improvement Demonstrated ability to deal with both internal and external stakeholders with empathy and professionalism at all times Ability to work independently and demonstrate strategic thought processes At Avant, our people are the centre of everything we do for our members.
