Responsibility planning, directing, and coordinating all activities within the product lifecycle from design pre-production sample through to bulk production. A highly collaborative role working closely with the Creative Director and design team to design seasonal ranges. Key Responsibilities: Trend forecasting and building mood boards for upcoming collections. Assisting with initial hand-sketches sketches, CAD Fashion illustrator drawings and flat technical specs for all collections. Managing Junior Designer and working together on detailed tech packs for approved designs Maintain seasonal design boards and capsule presentations for new collection launches. Seasonal handovers with our Australian and international showrooms. Coordinate sales sample ranges for Sales, Marketing and Press according to seasonal Critical Path key dates. Measuring garments, Complete sample comments for Protos, SMS, PPS, and bulk with feedback from Creative Director as required. Liaising with factories and our off-shore Production Manager on all aspects of product development and production. Assist with SMS processes and liaise with factories directly. Taking ownership of the development process, including fitting the samples and sending outfit comments. About You: Minimum 2 years experience in a design & production capacity. Tertiary qualification in Fashion Design or relevant field. Proven experience using Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Intermediate skills in Microsoft, specifically Excel. A creative and collaborative approach to design. An understanding of design from a technical perspective Proven experience in creating high-quality hand-sketches, CADs and tech packs. Experience with offshore manufacturing. Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
