Full-time, hybrid Melbourne CBD (1-2 days in office) The Organisation: FourQuarters are partnering with an Australian Financial Services business to find a Security Analyst to perform an incident response function as part of their Security Operations team. They are a forward-thinking, progressive organisation with a mature security function and investment in new technologies. They're serious about cyber security for their customers and employees. They also provide budget for individuals to get additional training The Role: You will: Proactively hunt threats and contribute to SIEM and SOAR using Splunk Provide major incident response (DFIR) as part of a team, as an escalation point alongside an MSSP Conduct forensic investigations into incidents Provide security reports to management and internal stakeholders Contribute with updating the cyber playbook, diagrams and IR planning About You: Solid analyst experience including some knowledge of how to operate in a serious incident Experience with threat hunting, threat intelligence (using Splunk or similar) - SIEM and SOAR An outside-the-box thinker, creative and progressive-thinking We are happy to consider profiles with slightly less experience or with a SOC Analyst background..
